| I've owned it for over a year now and it's great for my uses in going to school to become a professional illustrator. The Wacom is for more professional uses, if you just want a tablet for fun the Bamboo works excellent. |

| After very little usage, the mouse died. Wacom said I had to buy a new one for $70 plus tax and shipping. The stylus and tablet are still OK; but this mouse is expensive garbage. |

| This is a Great Add On to my Photoshop and Digital Camera Creative Side...I am just learning all, have bought Adobe CS4, and learning everything I can and loving every minute of it! If you have a Creative Side, you need this! Makes editing your photos GREATER and EASIER, once you have a handle of it. And there is so much you can do FOREVER! Opened up my mind to a great extention to what I have been learning and what I need to learn. |

I used to have a Genius tablet and now comparing to the Intuos 3, it's like no comparison at all.
It flows naturally as a brush or pencil and responds in a very detailed manner to the hand controls.
I'd highly recommend this one! |

I used to use an old Graphire 4 x 5 for many years in middle and high school. Late in college, I decided to finally pony up the cash and buy the best - an Intuos!! And after using it ... I could never go back to a Graphire.
A Graphire is fine if you are only doing coloring work or photo retouching. If you do any digital painting AT ALL, you should get the Intuos. Why? With the Graphire, you can't really get precise lines easily - you can do so, but it is a slow process that will waste a LOT of your time. With the Graphire, you also get that annoying feeling of lines not being precise due to both the lack of sensitivity with the tablet and the small area you have to work with.
Enter the Intuos. First, the combined sensitivity with the tablet drivers create a remarkably fluid experience that feels like writing with a pencil far more than the Graphire ever could. You can actually INK with this thing and have it feel like a natural part of your workflow, unlike with the Graphire where you have to fight the technology to make it work. The Intuos just flows naturally with the way you work.
In all, grab an Intuos if you are at all serious about digital painting or texturing. But if you're serious, you already know this. ;) |
